It has become a cheap staple with many Indians to `use’ and denigrate english language as in its simplistic reading of words- without the context and their meaning or their import through the times in the literary canon-language comes from literature and not the other way round- and this is with the sole motive and intention of mutilating a culture and a civilizational context- it is strange that the commonwealth countries have people who are at this job day in and day out -as they want to `rewrite’ history and its context. It is very important to realize this fact and experience because this can be so limiting for the imagination which takes off from a context -For example there is a cheap staple to denigrate a woman who speaks or writes english to address her as `mis-understanding’- so a bizarre annihilation of the word and its meaning- should i be more graphic- for example- `mis’ is thought to mean a female -by these people- and `under- standing’ – is meant to be woman who is `standing under- so it is as denigrating as this and once this bizarre meandering of the fools is deconstructed- one is free of the foolishness that they conduct themselves in- Very strange times when women are targeted to be subjected to this demeaning attitude by both men and women today because they see women on their own and fending for themselves in every way- the strategy is to take away what is earned by women and then subject them to be stranded to a wall so that they should ask and beg for what has been their own – and has been earned by the dint of their own talent, hard work and pursuits- the motive and intention is to `fix’ a woman and `show her her place’ – so what does this mean- that it is time to assert and reinvent from the context of the canon and one is free to disrupt the status quo-this entails a lot of sacrifice and self-awareness- and the realization that a woman in the know of herself- and her own journey – should not buy the `contaminated’ nonsense of these hooligans and not allow these creeps to break her strength and so `self-belief’ is the mantra of these women and girls who are not here to brook this third rate foolishness of these men and their appending women-More to be…
